Our settings are antiqued silver-gilt — solid 925 sterling silver finished with a warm gilding and darkened at the recesses, as Victorian pieces were. The garnets, moonstones and topaz are natural gemstones; the crystals are fine-cut in the old paste tradition, and the pearls are cultured. Cameos are carved in the pressed manner of the period.

Pieces leave the archive within 1-2 business days, wrapped in tissue and sealed by hand. US delivery takes 6-10 days with tracking sent by email. Each parcel arrives in its keepsake box, ready to be given or kept.

We accept returns within 30 days for unworn pieces in their original box. Please note that lockets or bangles you have asked us to engrave with personal initials are made to order and cannot be returned unless faulty. Faulty or damaged pieces are replaced or refunded in full, at our expense.

Measure a finger at the end of the day with a strip of paper or soft tape — snug, never tight — and match the millimeters to our chart; our rings run US sizes 5-9 and are true to size. The Heirloom Bangle has a 62 mm inner diameter and hinges open, so it needs only to pass the wrist. When between sizes, the larger is the wiser choice.

Every order arrives in a kraft keepsake box closed with a wax seal and ribbon, with its archive card tucked inside. You may add a handwritten-style gift note at checkout, and no prices are ever included. It presents as a legacy ought to.

Never use silver dips or abrasive cloths — the darkened gilt is the character of the piece. Wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth after wear and keep perfume, water and cosmetics at a respectful distance. Stored in its box, the finish will soften gracefully for decades.
